Mason Mount - Professional Footballer
Mason Tony Mount is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking or central midfielder for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team. He was born on January 10, 1999, in Portsmouth, England.
He joined Chelsea's academy at the age of six. He made his senior Chelsea debut in 2017, and has since gone on to make over 200 appearances for the club. He has won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea. He has also won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with the England national under-19 team.
He made his senior international debut in 2019, and was part of the England team at UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He is known for his dribbling, passing, and shooting ability. He is also a good set-piece taker. He is considered to be one of the most promising young players in England.
In July 2023, Mount transferred to Manchester United for a fee of £64.2 million.
